With a registered account on the STERIS Healthcare Design Services website, you can access and download technical support documents for STERIS equipment including steam sterilizers (autoclaves), washer/disinfectors, surgical booms, surgical lights and more. Design and planning documents that you can access on the STERIS Healthcare Design Services website include:
- Revit family objects, also known as Building Information Modeling (BIM) or RFA files
- Computer-Aided Design Blocks (CAD Blocks), also known as CAD files or DWG files
- Technical data sheets
- Brochures
- Equipment drawings
- Seismic documentation
To download design and planning documents, hover over the Design Documents option in the menu at the top of the page and select the piece of equipment for which you need documents. Once on the equipment page, use the selections in the box on the right side of the page to drill down to the specific equipment configuration that you would like design documents for. Click the document type to expand, and then select the document to download.
If you are unable to find a document for a specific piece of STERIS equipment, please contact your local Project Design Manager.

On the STERIS Healthcare Design Services website, access and download room layout templates for hospital design and healthcare facility planning including:
- Operating Room (OR) layouts
- Hybrid OR layouts
- Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) layouts
- Decontamination Room layouts
To access and download room layout templates, simply click here or click "Room Layouts" in the "Resource Library" menu dropdown at the top of the page.
